Firstly, I wanted to thank all of you who have sent me messages about my previous post. It really meant the world to me to know that I was never alone in this. I wanted to start this year off fresh, but instead of resolutions, I wanted to do small monthly goals that would end with huge results. This month, it’s all about decluttering my house and re-organization. My home was a mess the past year and I became extremely overwhelmed with the amount of stuff that was lying around. Things I just did not need were taking over and I didn’t know where to start. It made me hate coming home. Each attempt to get rid of things would create so much anxiety because I was just trying too hard to get to a goal too quickly. After much research, aka pinterest,  I found an amazing list about 30 days of decluttering from an amazing blogger Kaylie. Her blog Life As You Live It is lovely, and while I just started reading on her posts… I’m already finding more things to inspire me.

30 Days of Decluttering

I love this list that she created because it’s so much more than just decluttering your home, I never even thought of getting rid of things like e-mail subscriptions and photos on my phone. I’m happy to say that I’ve already gotten through a few before I saw this list and I’m ready to take on the challenge. Don’t forget to follow me on instagram @lelotheartist so that you can keep up with me on my stories. This year is already starting out to be a great one and I can’t wait to share more of my dreams and goals with you.

What are some of you goals for 2018? Will you also take on the challenge of decluttering this year?
